Donation Partner Spotlight — Big Blue Truck

Every week, Big Blue Truck shows up at our Tacoma facility and loads up clothing, bedding, small household goods, and furniture — items that came to us through junk removal jobs across the region and would otherwise have ended up in a landfill.

Big Blue Truck is part of Northwest Center, an organization that has been supporting education and employment programs for people with disabilities for more than 50 years. When donated items are collected and resold, the proceeds fund those programs directly. So the clothing and household goods that leave our Tacoma location don't just stay out of the landfill — they help create jobs and opportunities for people in our community.

It's a straightforward partnership: we have the goods, they have the mission and the infrastructure to put them to use. Every week, that truck shows up, and a little more of what we rescued finds its way to a good purpose.
